Entrepreneurs use a variety of techniques for the on-going evaluation of existing or possible opportunities. According to Profs. Sharda S. Nandram and Karel J. Samsom The 50 entrepreneurs mentioned a total of 163 techniques which are quantified in broader categories. These are presented in the table (click here). The strategy related techniques such as re-definition, re-differentiation, redesigning and re-segmentation of the products, services and markets are the most frequently mentioned followed by competence related techniques and techniques to stimulate creativity.
